What to Expect

Each therapy session is tailored to your individual situation and goals. During our initial session, we typically focus on understanding your needs and exploring your personal history. Building a connection is essential—we want to ensure you feel safe and supported before delving into deeper topics. Subsequent sessions center on building trust and further examining your history, emotions, beliefs, behavioral patterns, and triggers. Your therapist will remain attentive and ask insightful questions to fully understand the unique circumstances, strengths, and
challenges that shape your life. Together, we’ll identify any counterproductive patterns—thoughts, behaviors, and emotions—and explore their origins so we can work toward fostering healing and sustainable change. We utilize a combination of evidence-based methods and holistic approaches, always looking for the larger themes at play—while anxiety may be linked to a stressful job, we also consider how factors like poor sleep, diet, sedentary habits, and unresolved childhood trauma may be influencing your overall experience.
THE THERAPY PROCESS:
Determine your goals and build connection.
01.
02.
Review history, emotions, beliefs, behavioral patterns, & triggers.
03.
Identify patterns, explore their origins, & work toward healing.
Therapy doesn’t have to last for years. We’ll regularly assess your progress, celebrate accomplishments, and adjust your therapy goals as needed.
