About Us

A holistic approach
to your mental health
At Remedy Counseling & Wellness we are committed to a holistic approach to mental health. We believe that sustainable, meaningful change can take place when we address the whole person—while anxiety may be linked to your stressful job, we also consider how factors like lifestyle habits, nervous system regulation, and unresolved childhood trauma may be influencing your experience. We’ll guide you through a process of self awareness and understanding toward healing and empowerment so you can live more fully. If you’re ready to explore the barriers preventing you from reaching your full potential, we’d be honored to partner with you.
ABOUT REMEDY
Our Story
Remedy Counseling & Wellness was founded by Christopher O’Reilly, a licensed professional counselor whose personal healing through self awareness and mindfulness combined with years of experience in the mental health field inspired the practice.
At the age of 19, Christopher discovered mindfulness and dramatically changed his life. Many years later as an executive in the addiction and trauma fields, he saw the need for a more integrative approach to mental health care.
Drawing from both evidence-based therapeutic methods and holistic practices, Christopher established Remedy Counseling & Wellness with the goal of helping individuals achieve lasting, meaningful change.

Why [re]medy?
Remedy comes from the Latin word remedium, a combination of re- to be done again or go back and mederi to heal. We believe the path to true healing is unique to your individual story.
